Water Quality Monitoring Equipment 
 
This app was created by HydroTech to provide our customers with a quick access to calculations and conversions that they use on a daily basis while calibrating and maintaining their water quality monitoring equipment:
 
Oxygen Solubility:  In order to calibrate dissolved oxygen sensors to DO (mg/L), the end user needs to determine the solubility of oxygen in the water first. Input the current uncompensated barometric pressure (mmHg). Input current temperature reading from the multiprobe thermometer (°C). Input the current SpConductivity value of the water used for calibration (µs/cm). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results
 
pH Buffer Temp.Correction: All pH buffers values are rated to 25 °C. When using a buffer that has a temperature other than 25 °C, the end user needs to apply a correction to the buffer value based on its current temperature. Select pH buffer 4,7 or 10 column. Input the current buffer temperature (°C). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results. 
 
ORP Zobell Temp. Correction: The ORP Zobell solution value is rated at 25 °C. When using a Zobell solution that has a temperature other than 25 °C, the end user needs to apply a correction to the solution value based on its current temperature. Inpute the Zobell solution value at 25 °C. Input the current Zobell solution temperature (°C). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results. 
 
SpCond to Salinity Conversion: Input the SpConductivity value (µs/cm). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results. The Salinity conversion is based on USGS Water-Supply Paper 2311
 
Salinity to Chloride Conversion: Input the salinity value (ppt). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results.
 
S4000 NTU Formazin Dilution: The Formazin is the recommended standard for calibrating the turbidity sensor. The 4000 (NTU) standard will need to be diluted to lower values by the end user. Input the value of the standard needed (NTU). Input the total standard volume needed (ml). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results.
 
NO3 Dilution: Start with a 50 mg/l NO3 standard. Input NO3 standard value needed (mg/l), Input Total standard volume needed (ml). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results.
 
TDG Percent: Input TDG% value (mmHg). Input Barometric Pressure (mmHg). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results.
 
Actual B.P. (mmHg):  When you obtain the Barometric Pressure (B.P.) measurement from a weather station they usually report the corrected B.P to sea level. You need to uncorrect that value based on your current altitude (Actual B.P.). Input the corrected B.P. (mmHg) or (inHg). Input your current altitude (f). Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results.
 
pH Slope Calculation: Input current pH (mV) readings for each pH buffer. Click "Enter", "Tab", "Go" or just click on the black field to display the results.
